This take on a game day favorite snack is just as flavorful while boasting lower calories and higher protein! This recipe makes 4 servings (one serving = 3 oz. bowl of broccoli).

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 TB olive oil
  • 1 TB lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 oz. freshly grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In medium mixing bowl, combine broccoli florets, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix ingredients thoroughly.
  3. Place seasoned broccoli in air fryer basket in one even and flat layer.
  4. Place in air fryer and cook at 350F for 7 minutes.
  5. After 7 minutes, increase air fryer temperature to 400F.
  6. Cook broccoli at 400F for 2-3 minutes or until florets are crispy on edges.
  7. Remove broccoli from air fryer, garnish with grated parmesan if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

I recommend having fun with different seasonings for air fryer veggies (my personal favorite for Air Fryer Broccoli is Trader Joe’s Citrus Garlic Seasoning).
